Animal Care Education

About ACE

Animal Care Education is an international virtual training centre that prepares veterinary professionals and related fields for the job market, connecting real animal care situations to the critical analysis of scientific evidence.

Purpose

Training to decide well

Professional practice in animal care means deciding with incomplete information, limited time and real consequences for animals, owners and teams. ACE exists to develop that capacity to decide: recognise the problem, seek the best available evidence, weigh alternatives and act responsibly.

We are neither a formal educational institution nor a professional licensing body. We are an applied-knowledge initiative: we organise reliable information, propose pathways for deeper study, guide practice and document what was done.

Audience

Who it is for

Veterinarians

Early in their careers or updating their knowledge, in clinics, in the field, in industry or in public health.

Final-year students

Who need to connect academic content with the reality of care and of the job market.

Professionals in related fields

Animal science, biology, veterinary nursing, service management and public policy related to animal health.

Approach

How we work

Content starts from real situations and is organised around decisions. Sources are cited with access dates, and every relevant claim points to what supports it. Content that recommends clinical conduct or interprets legal obligations undergoes identified technical review before publication; until that happens, it is flagged as pending.

The platform is offered in Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish and English. The three versions of each piece of content share the same sources and claims.

Production flow: demand, triage, planning, production, verification, practice (when declared), review, approval, dissemination, follow-up and maintenance. A critical failure (invented result, non-existent source, undisclosed risk, undue professional promise, privacy breach, unauthorised use of material, declared practice without evidence) halts publication even if everything else is good.
